Roughly half the country views ICE in a negative light as thugs of sorts, while the other half view them as white knights taking the bad guys off the streets. But what happens when instead of going after the bad guys, some ICE agents go after toddlers and little old ladies? While I agree that dangerous criminals who are also here illegally should be deported, the seemingly extra-judicial structure of ICE and the need for accountability for any abuses of power are the real issue concerning many.
