Hi-I'm Tony Bayer. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Liberal Arts and a Government major in 1998. With computerization of commercial art, I decided to shift gears and pursue a career in that field, where maybe I could also have cartoons published.
After about a year of furthering my education while working at a
printshop in Valparaiso, I found a job as a
graphic designer for
some Paxton publications. In 2003, I began to submit
editorial cartoons to
The News-Dispatch
of Michigan City, and have kept at it ever since..
My cartoons have appeared
in the Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, 2005 to 2010
editions. I also encourage you to check out

I've done in collaboration with them.
Some of my
graphic design honors include a
Hoosier State Press Association award for Best Use of
Graphics (2003) and
Associated Press awards for Best Use of Graphics (2005, 2006,
