Hi-I'm Tony Bayer. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Liberal Arts and a Government Major in '98. With computerization of commercial art, I decided to change course to pursue a career in that field, where perhaps I could also integrate cartooning.
After taking
more classes in graphic design
while working at a printshop, I went on to
produce ads for Paxton Media
publications and their affiliated websites. In 2003, my editorial cartoons
began appearing in
The News-Dispatch
of Michigan City, Indiana. As of 2011, they are
also
featured in
The La Porte
Herald-Argus.
Some of my
cartoons have
appeared
in the
Best Editorial Cartoons
Of The Year,
2005 to
2012 Editions. My graphic design honors
include a
Hoosier State Press Association
award for Best Use of
Graphics ('03) and
Associated Press awards
for Best Use of Graphics ('05,
'06, and '07). I
am also

I reside with my
wife in La
Porte, Indiana,
with a baby girl
on the way.
