George Santos was recently expelled from the House of Representatives and no longer will represent New York's 3rd congressional district over various offenses, including fraud, money laundering, theft, and various false statements. What surprises me is that Congress suddenly has ethical standards-most of the time the parties overlook the corruption of their own to maintain their numbers in a narrowly divided House and Senate. As an aside, I shall miss him - as a cartoonist.
