House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is under heavy pressure from her party to impeach President Trump for obstruction of justice in light of the controversial findings of the Mueller Investigation. Pelosi knows that an impeachment process doomed to failure in the GOP-controlled Senate would simply be a victory for Trump. Nevertheless, many Democrats are insisting that it should be done anyway to make a statement-whether it be for ideological or political reasons.
