"WRITE-IN CANDIDATES"

9/11/12 The News-Dispatch & The Herald-Argus

Since Clint Eastwood's impromptu speech at the Republican National Convention, in which he carried on a conversation with an empty chair, some have suggested he and the chair run for president and vice-president.  If you are to believe Eastwood, the chair is already running (as Obama).  I tend to think it was quite simply a moment of senility.
Among his complaints to the conservative crowd was that Obama didn't follow through with closing Guantanamo Bay prison - which is actually a popular liberal cause. I wonder what the chair would say about that?
