"HOODIED JUSTICE"

4/10/12 The News-Dispatch & The Herald-Argus

People are looking for answers in the wake of the shooting of Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, with much speculation as to whether or not it was racially motivated. As it is right now, it is being tried in the court of public opinion and by the media, which is premature. However, the level of outrage is absolutely understandable given the history of racial profiling of African-Americans by police in the United States. The bottom line is Zimmerman needs to be put on trial and all the facts legally examined, so that there can truly be justice.
