The Federal Reserve is said to be running out of tools to deal with economic stagnation, especially in the wake of a historic credit downgrade. Hopefully voters will remember how incumbents in Congress proved unworthy leaders - placing politics, ideological fanaticism and petty partisanship before the country's well-being - during the debt ceiling crisis that led to the downgrade.
