Federal regulators may take Apple to task for trying to establish a monopoly on apps for mobile devices. Apple CEO Steve Jobs refuses to support Adobe Flash on iPhones and iPads, for instance, and has engaged in a war of words with Adobe recently over the issue.
The funny thing about such technology is that it's designed to become outdated within six months to a year anyway. I view that kind of planned obsolescence as a scam by hi-tech companies to keep themselves in business.
