My opinion back in '05 when I drew this cartoon was that banning smoking in an establishment should be up to that business to decide. Years later, I changed my mind and figured if they want to ban it everywhere, what the heck - I never was a smoker, don't plan on ever becoming one, and tough luck to all the people who are addicted to it. Not being able to do it in public buildings is just another incentive for them to give up a deadly habit.
