I'm generally not superstitious, but I believe that the year 2008 had some seriously bad hoodoo put on it. Not only was the economy unprecedentedly bad, but also in terms of people's personal lives, it seemed most people I knew were having tragedies that year. I made the old man's fingers almost claws. A good riddance to a crap-tacular year.
