"TALK ALONE"

2/13/07 The News-Dispatch

There's always been talk about what to do with the decaying north end of Michigan City. The real problem is that many new businesses cropped up in former farmlands on the south end, and there is only so much consumer wealth to go around. It is a plight shared by many towns. My thought is the north end should be filled with offices for doctors, dentists, insurance agencies, banks, etc...places people HAVE to go.  THEN perhaps shops here and there could crop up - and maybe prosper.
