I'm all for protecting the "homeland," but it creeps me out to think an "inconvenient" political dissident - someone such as Michael Moore (or in the eyes of the current administration, a Rush Limbaugh or a Bill O' Reilly) could be secretly and legally renditioned to another country like Cuba or Saudi Arabia for detention and torture. Rendition is Stalinism with an American twist, and I feel safer knowing this administration appears to be rejecting such KGB-style tactics done in the name of protecting liberty.
