A relentlessly cold winter thus far with blizzard conditions has some people questioning the reality of global warming. While I understand the confusion, science has shown that global warming actually can create extreme and cold weather away from the north and south poles, where irrefutable evidence of ice melting away at record levels is occurring. In a twisted way, I am hoping that in the future global warming does bring warmer winters here in Indiana. It almost makes me want to increase my own carbon emissions...just kidding.
