Democrats are hoping that testimony from former FBI Director James Comey could lead to an obstruction of justice conviction and possible impeachment of President Trump. Comey's claims that he was asked to stop investigating national security adviser Michael Flynn and his ties to Russia and asked to be "loyal" are disputed by the president, who has offered to give his own testimony under oath before congress. My sense is that not much will come of his testimony, but that is mainly because Republicans hold a majority in congress and have little interest in impeachment.
